Tania Vergara

Tania Vergara (Ballet, Modern, Character)is from Cuba and holds a and was a teacher from 1986 to 2013 in the Cuban Ballet School. She was the Founder and Director, and Choreographer of Contemporary Ballet Endedans. Other professional experience includes companies like National Ballet of Cuba and Ballet of Camagüey.

Her awards consist of the Ibero-American Choreography Award in 2008, Anacaona "Golden Flower" Distinction, granted by Igneri Foundation, in the Dominican Republic, the National Union of Writers and Artist of Cuba for choreography (UNEAC), and Villanueva Award granted by Critic Section of UNEAC, among others. Her choreography has been performed in countries as Germany, Mexico, Dominican Republic, French Guyana, Venezuela, Martinique and USA. She has prepared contemporary pieces for to Youth American Grand Prix in Cordova, Mexico, Orlando, USA and Varna, Bulgaria.

Ms. Vergara has worked as ballet teacher in México, Dominican Republic and the USA. She is also well “versed” in repertory, character dance, and its methodology, as well.
